The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying prospects, generating leads, and successfully shepherding business opportunities throughout the consultative sales cycle.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be hungry, humble and smart
  • Have a demonstrable track record of sales success, preferably in a highly consultative environment
  • Be an active participant in setting sales goals and ensuring goals are met
  • Partner with leadership to develop, codify, and execute sales strategies and processes
  • Enjoy working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have exposure to design, development, and delivery of custom software, web applications, mobile applications, and websites


  • Conduct call/email campaigns, coordinate meetings with key stakeholders
  • Generate prospects and leads
  • Maintain and expand the prospect database
  • Manage and track sales pipeline
  • Provide regular updates on business development activities
  • Qualify Inbound marketing leads
  • Coordinate responses to requests for information
  • Participate in scoping projects, developing estimates, and drafting proposals
  • Prepare supporting materials for scoping meetings/presentations
  • Support strategic and ongoing marketing awareness campaigns
  • Collaborate to identify target clients and develop growth strategies
  • Actively participate in the local business and technology communities to develop and deepen relationships and increase brand awareness


  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/marketing within the software development industry
  • Experience utilizing CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite products
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
